Congress MP Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy Urges Union Minister Kishan Reddy to Secure Funds for Telangana
Congress MP Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy has criticised Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy, saying he should focus on bringing more funds to Telangana instead of merely writing letters to the State government. He alleged that the BJP has not given serious thought to the future development of Telangana.
Speaking to the media, Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy said that as a Union Minister, Kishan Reddy has a greater responsibility to ensure adequate financial support from the Centre for key development projects in the State. He claimed that Telangana has been denied its fair share of central funds in areas such as infrastructure, welfare schemes, and irrigation.
The Congress MP argued that writing letters alone would not address the State’s challenges and demanded concrete action to secure approvals and budgetary allocations. He also accused the BJP of using Telangana only for political purposes while failing to deliver tangible benefits.
Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy asserted that the Congress would continue to raise the issue of central neglect and press for greater financial assistance to Telangana to support its growth and development.
