Congress is stepping up its campaign for the Priyanka Gandhi Bihar Election, aiming to strengthen its roots in the state. Preparations are underway for Priyanka Gandhi’s rally in Muzaffarpur, led by District President Arvind Kumar Mukul. Congress hopes to recreate the excitement once seen during Rajiv Gandhi’s historic rally in 1991.
The party is contesting two key seats — Muzaffarpur and Sakra. Sitting MLA Vijendra Chaudhary leads from Muzaffarpur, while Umesh Ram fights a close battle in Sakra. Senior leaders have designed a special booth-management plan to boost performance.
For the Priyanka Gandhi Bihar Election, a 40-member campaign committee has been formed for Muzaffarpur and a 19-member team for Sakra. Local leaders have been given panchayat and booth-level duties to ensure better coordination. Congress hopes Priyanka’s visit will energize workers and voters ahead of the elections.
