The CPI-ML has taken a major step during the Bihar elections by extending support to the Congress in Biharsharif and Rajapakar and to the CPI in Bachhwara. Despite some friendly contests within the Grand Alliance, the CPI-ML said unity remains strong across all 243 seats. Party leader Kunal confirmed cooperation on most seats.
Earlier, CPI-ML released its Parivartan Sankalp Patra promising major reforms — five decimals of land for the homeless in rural areas, fair crop prices, loan waivers for farmers, and pensions for women, elderly, and disabled citizens. The manifesto also proposed 65% reservation for deprived groups, inclusion in the 9th Schedule, and distribution of 21 lakh acres of land as per the Bandopadhyay Commission.
With this, CPI-ML support to Congress in Bihar elections signals a united front within the Grand Alliance, aiming for a strong performance on November 14.
