CPI Seeks Tough Action Against Culprits in TTD Parakamani Scam
The Communist Party of India (CPI) has demanded strict and uncompromising action against those involved in the TTD Parakamani scam, calling for the culprits and masterminds to be punished without any leniency. CPI leader K. Narayana stated that the scandal, which involves alleged misappropriation of offerings at the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams, has deeply hurt public sentiment and must be dealt with firmly to restore faith in the institution.
Narayana criticised the authorities for what he termed a slow and inadequate response to the case. He urged the government and investigative agencies to conduct a thorough probe, ensure transparency, and bring all guilty individuals to justice, regardless of their positions or influence.
The CPI leader stressed that safeguarding the sanctity of TTD and ensuring accountability is essential. He added that strong action would send a clear message that corruption in sacred institutions will not be tolerated.
