Criminal Case Filed Against Congress Leader Naveen Yadav in Jubilee Hills By-Election Row

In Telangana, a criminal case has been registered against Congress leader Naveen Yadav, who is a key contender in the upcoming Jubilee Hills by-election. The case was filed for allegedly violating Election Commission rules by distributing voter ID cards. Election officer Rajinikanth lodged a complaint with the Madhura Nagar police, stating that the act amounted to an attempt to influence voters through inducements.

Following the complaint, the police booked Naveen Yadav under multiple sections of the Representation of the People Act and other relevant laws. The Election Commission is said to be closely monitoring the case to ensure fair conduct in the by-election, which is scheduled to take place on November 11.

Naveen Yadav’s alleged actions have sparked political debate, with rival parties accusing Congress of resorting to unethical electoral practices.
