CRPF Director General said the force is duty-bound to wipe out all forms of terrorism from the country. The statement was made during a solemn event in Pulwama, Jammu and Kashmir, marking the seventh anniversary of the 2019 attack on CRPF personnel.
Senior officers from the Indian Army and the Jammu and Kashmir Police joined the CRPF leadership to pay tribute to the fallen soldiers. Floral wreaths were laid at memorials to honour the sacrifices of the personnel who lost their lives in the attack.
The CRPF DG emphasised that the security forces remain committed to protecting citizens and maintaining peace in all regions affected by terrorism. He also highlighted ongoing efforts to strengthen intelligence, modernise equipment, and improve coordination among the army, police, and paramilitary forces to prevent future attacks and ensure national safety.
