Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka Highlights Congress’ Commitment to BC Empowerment
Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka has reiterated that the Congress government remains firm in its commitment to the welfare and empowerment of Backward Classes (BCs) in Telangana. Speaking in Khammam, he emphasised that multiple schemes and policy measures are being implemented to ensure social, educational, and economic upliftment of BC communities across the State.
Vikramarka contrasted this approach with that of the BJP, claiming that the party lacks genuine commitment to addressing the concerns of BCs. He argued that while the Congress government has taken concrete steps — such as enhancing scholarships, providing skill development opportunities, and supporting entrepreneurship — the opposition has largely failed to prioritise these initiatives.
The Deputy CM called on citizens to recognise the government’s consistent efforts in promoting equality and social justice, stressing that empowering BCs is a key pillar of Telangana’s inclusive growth agenda. He also urged continued community participation to maximise the impact of welfare programmes.
