Veteran actor Dharmendra, 89, is “stable and recovering well,” his daughter Esha Deol and wife Hema Malini said on Monday, dismissing rumours about his health circulating on social media. In a joint statement, they urged fans and media to refrain from spreading unverified information and assured that the actor is under good medical care at a Mumbai hospital. “Papa is doing fine and responding well to treatment. Please do not believe or forward any false news,” Esha wrote on social media. Hema Malini also thanked well-wishers for their prayers and support. Dharmendra, known for his iconic roles in films such as Sholay, Chupke Chupke, and Phool Aur Patthar, was admitted after complaining of mild discomfort, sources said. Doctors have kept him under observation as a precautionary measure, and his condition is reported to be improving steadily
