Dularchand Murder

The investigation into the murder of Jansuraj supporter Dularchand Yadav from Mokama continues as his family demands justice. His grandson made a strong statement, insisting that the five main accused must be arrested before any Brahmin feast takes place. Speaking to the media, he said, “We will not hold the feast until all the accused are behind bars.

So far, three suspects, including former JDU MLA and strongman Anant Singh, have been arrested. The others are Manikant Thakur and Ranjit Ram. Anant Singh is currently lodged in Beur Jail under strict security. Officials confirmed he has been kept in a high-security ward where no visitors are allowed. Additional guards have been deployed to prevent any untoward incident, as several of his rivals are also in the same prison.

Sources revealed that Patna Police plans to take Anant Singh on remand after the elections for detailed questioning. Officers aim to uncover the full conspiracy and the roles of other accused, including his two nephews.
Dularchand Yadav was murdered on October 30, and arrests were made two days later in Barh’s Kargil Market. The case has stirred strong emotions across Mokama, with demands for swift justice growing louder.
