Kanu communities have 5 MLAs. Kalwar and Sudi castes have 4 each. Marwari and Mallah groups won 3 seats each. Pasi, Kamat, Dhobi, Gangota, Kayastha, Roniyar, and Adivasi castes have two MLAs each. Several smaller castes won one seat each, showing wide social representation.
