Equitable development in Andhra Pradesh remains government priority
Equitable development in Andhra Pradesh is a core focus of the State government, Excise Minister Kollu Ravindra said on Sunday. He stated that development initiatives are being implemented across all regions without discrimination.
Speaking in Vijayawada, the Minister said the government’s pro-industry policies have attracted substantial investments from national and international companies. These investments, he added, are creating jobs and improving infrastructure across districts.
Kollu Ravindra said balanced regional growth is essential for long-term economic stability. The government, he noted, is focusing on improving roads, power supply, industrial parks, and skill development facilities in both urban and rural areas.
He added that investor-friendly reforms and simplified approvals have helped build confidence among industries. As a result, several large projects are moving from proposal stage to execution.
The Minister said welfare programmes and development projects are being aligned to ensure inclusive growth. Special attention, he added, is being given to backward and underserved regions. He reiterated that equitable development in Andhra Pradesh would remain a guiding principle of governance. According to him, sustained investments and inclusive policies will help the State achieve steady and broad-based growth.
