EU Leaders Begin India Visit, to Be Chief Guests at Republic Day 2026
Ahead of a major summit in Delhi, European Union leaders began their visit to India and will be the chief guests at the Republic Day 2026 celebrations. The visit aims to strengthen ties between India and the EU in areas such as trade, investment, technology, and climate action.
European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen started her four-day visit on Saturday, January 24, 2026.
