Fake IAS Officer Exposed: Shocking Lies, Power Abuse, and a Hidden Network

Fake IAS officer Gaurav Kumar Singh arrested by police

Fake IAS officer Lalit Kishore, also known as Gaurav Kumar Singh, has been arrested after a shocking series of revelations.

The fake IAS officer slapped a Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) in Bihar when asked about his rank and batch. The incident happened during a public inspection. Due to embarrassment, the SDM did not file a complaint.

Police said Gaurav posed as a senior IAS officer and moved freely in UP, Bihar, Jharkhand, and Madhya Pradesh. He used a white Innova with government lights and fake documents to look official.

Investigators found that he cheated builders and businessmen of over ₹5 crore. He promised government tenders, jobs, and projects. He also took two Innova cars as part of the fraud.

Gaurav admitted that he first made fake IDs and papers. Later, with the help of AI tools, he created fake tenders, letters, and newspaper reports within minutes. His brother-in-law helped him with software work.

Police also revealed his personal scams. He made four girlfriends while pretending to be an IAS officer. Three of them became pregnant and did not know his real identity or marriage.
