Tension gripped Gas Cylinders Distributed Under Police Guard in Thorrur on Saturday after a large number of consumers gathered outside a Bharat Gas agency demanding their cylinders. Residents said they had booked cylinders nearly two months ago but had not received delivery.
Many customers from the town and nearby villages queued up at the agency early in the morning. When they asked the staff about the delay, they were told that their cylinders had already been delivered. This response angered consumers, who suspected that the cylinders were being sold in the black market.
As the crowd grew and protests intensified, police rushed to the spot and brought the situation under control. Officers spoke to the people and calmed them down.

Residents, especially women, said the delay caused serious problems for cooking at home. They demanded a full investigation into the gas booking and delivery system.
