Goat Milk Sale at Sudha Booths: Bihar Government’s New Plan

Goat Milk Sale at Sudha Booths scheme in Bihar dairy outlets

The Bihar government has planned the Goat Milk Sale at Sudha Booths to support small farmers and boost rural income. Under this plan, Sudha dairy outlets will soon sell goat milk across the state. The move will also give consumers a healthy milk option. The Goat Milk Sale at Sudha Booths will help create a stable market for goat farmers.

The government plans to launch the scheme in cities like Bhagalpur, Muzaffarpur, Gaya, Darbhanga and Purnia in the first phase. The Dairy, Fisheries and Animal Resources Department is preparing the proposal. The state cabinet will review the plan soon.

The government also wants to expand goat farming in rural areas. Poor families may receive an 80–90% subsidy to start goat rearing. This support can raise income and create jobs in villages.

Officials say more than 34,000 families have already received over one lakh goats under earlier schemes. The government will also provide training and technical support to improve milk production.
