Govt to Enhance Support for Physically Challenged Children: Minister
The Minister announced that the government will take special care of physically challenged children by strengthening support systems and improving access to essential services. Speaking in Vizianagaram, he emphasised that children with disabilities must receive equal opportunities in education, healthcare, and skill development. The government plans to enhance facilities in special schools, provide advanced learning aids, and ensure trained teachers are available to address diverse needs. He also highlighted the importance of early identification of disabilities so that timely interventions can be offered. Collaboration with NGOs and social organisations will be expanded to deliver rehabilitation, counselling, and vocational training. The Minister reiterated that the administration is committed to creating an inclusive environment where every child can grow with dignity and confidence. He said upcoming welfare programmes would prioritise accessibility, transportation support, and financial assistance for families. The government aims to remove barriers and empower children with disabilities to lead independent and fulfilling lives.
