Gujarat ATS Arrests Punjab-Based Man Linked to Pakistan-Backed Smuggling
The Gujarat Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) has arrested Gurpreet Singh, also known as Gopi Billa, a man wanted in Punjab for grenade and arms smuggling associated with a Pakistan-linked gang. The arrest took place in Halol town, Panchmahal district, following a specific intelligence input shared by Punjab police, according to an ATS release.
Gurpreet Singh has been under investigation for his alleged role in facilitating the movement of explosives and firearms across state borders, raising serious national security concerns.
