The Minister emphasized that this move would severely impact the youth of Telangana , limiting their opportunities to work in the U.S. and gain valuable international experience . He warned that the decision could have broader economic consequences, affecting remittances from Indian professionals abroad and potentially influencing job prospects within the domestic IT sector.
Sridhar Babu urged the central government to engage with U.S. authorities to protect the interests of Indian professionals. He expressed concern that such unilateral decisions by foreign governments not only harm the state’s workforce but also pose challenges to India’s overall global employment and economic strategy.
