Happiness Kit Initiative Launched to Aid Underprivileged Students
A new initiative, the Happiness Kit programme, has been launched in Hyderabad to provide support and resources to underprivileged students. The scheme aims to enhance students’ learning experiences, promote mental well-being, and ensure they have access to essential educational materials.
The Happiness Kit contains study supplies, stationery, and other learning aids, designed to help students participate actively in classroom activities and reduce barriers to education. Officials highlighted that the programme also focuses on boosting students’ confidence and motivation, fostering a positive attitude toward learning.
Education authorities emphasized that the initiative is part of broader efforts to ensure equitable access to education and support holistic development for children from disadvantaged backgrounds. Schools across the city will distribute the kits, and teachers have been encouraged to integrate the resources into daily learning. The programme is expected to improve engagement, attendance, and academic outcomes for students who face socioeconomic challenges.
