BRS senior leader and former minister T. Harish Rao has said that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy needs to face a political setback in the Jubilee Hills by-election to gain a “reality check.” Speaking at a public meeting in Rahmathnagar, Harish Rao stated that only a clear defeat would remind the Congress government of its unfulfilled promises and ground realities.
He criticized the ruling party for failing to deliver on its key commitments, including the ₹2,500 monthly aid for women and job opportunities for the youth. Rao added that despite not fulfilling these assurances, Congress leaders are behaving arrogantly as if the public wholeheartedly supports them.
Urging voters to support the BRS, he said only by voting for the “Car” symbol can the people bring real change and accountability. His fiery remarks have further heated up the political atmosphere in the Jubilee Hills by-poll campaign.
