Haryana transfers 6 IAS, IRPS officers with immediate effect as part of a major administrative reshuffle. The state government issued the transfer orders on Tuesday to streamline governance and improve administrative efficiency. Sudhir Rajpal has taken charge as Additional Chief Secretary of the Home, Jails, Criminal Investigation, and Administration of Justice Departments. Additionally, the government has assigned him the responsibility of the Environment, Forests, and Wildlife Department. The move places key internal security and environmental portfolios under his leadership.

Meanwhile, Dr. Sumita Misra has assumed office as Additional Chief Secretary and Financial Commissioner of the Revenue and Disaster Management and Consolidation Department. Along with this role, she will oversee the Health and Family Welfare, Medical Education and Research, and Ayush Departments. Her expanded responsibilities highlight the government’s focus on healthcare and disaster preparedness.

Sh. Arun Kumar Gupta will continue as Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister. Alongside this role, he now holds the additional charge of Additional Chief Secretary of the Finance and Planning Departments. This decision ensures continuity in policy coordination and financial planning.

Furthermore, the government has posted Dr. Saket Kumar as Commissioner and Secretary of the Urban Local Bodies Department. He will also serve as Member Secretary of the Kurukshetra Development Board, in addition to his existing duties. His posting aims to strengthen urban governance and development initiatives.

In another key appointment, Sh. Ram Kumar Singh has taken over as Special Secretary in the Revenue and Disaster Management Department. He will also function as Additional CEO of the Panchkula Metropolitan Development Authority. The government expects his experience to boost urban infrastructure planning.

Sh. Vinay Kumar, IRPS, has joined as Commissioner of the Municipal Corporation, Panchkula. He will also serve as District Municipal Commissioner, Panchkula, and Officer on Special Duty to the Haryana Staff Selection Commission.

Overall, these transfers reflect the Haryana government’s efforts to improve governance, enhance coordination, and ensure effective service delivery across departments.
