Khairatabad: Minister for Health, Damodar Rajanarsimha , emphasized the urgent need for reforms in the state’s medical system . He chaired a review meeting on Saturday at the Health Sri Trust office with senior officials from the Health Department , focusing on the establishment of new dialysis centers across the state.
During the meeting, the Minister expressed concern over the rising cases of kidney and cancer-related illnesses . He stressed that the state’s healthcare infrastructure must evolve to meet the growing medical needs and effectively control the spread of diseases.
Rajanarsimha highlighted that the medical sector should be prepared to tackle emerging health challenges and ensure that facilities , including dialysis and specialized treatment centers, are accessible to all citizens. The Health Department officials discussed strategies for timely implementation of new centers, resource allocation, and strengthening disease prevention programs.
