A high alert has been declared in Srisailam as Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit the sacred temple town tomorrow . In preparation for the visit, authorities have implemented tight security arrangements, deploying nearly 1,800 police personnel and staff to form a three-tier security cordon around the area.
District officials have also announced temporary traffic restrictions from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, during which all vehicular movement to and from Srisailam will be halted. Devotees and visitors have been urged to adjust their travel plans accordingly to avoid inconvenience.
The district Collector and Superintendent of Police (SP) have appealed for public cooperation to ensure a smooth and secure visit for the Prime Minister while maintaining order and safety at the pilgrimage site.
