Hindi Symbolises India’s Confidence, and LG Kavinder Gupta believes this growing linguistic pride reflects India’s cultural strength. Speaking in New Delhi, he said Hindi now represents India’s rising global confidence and cultural unity.
At the international conference on Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, held at Vigyan Bhawan, scholars, academicians, writers, and administrators explored the leader’s philosophy and legacy. The event celebrated his 110th birth anniversary and highlighted the importance of cultural identity in modern India.
LG Kavinder Gupta stressed that Hindi Symbolises India’s Confidence because it connects diverse communities emotionally and historically. He noted that more young Indians want to study, speak, and work in Hindi, which signals renewed national pride.
He praised the Vishwa Hindi Parishad and ICPR for promoting Hindi through research, dialogue, and global participation. He also appreciated the enthusiasm for Hindi among Ladakh’s youth, explaining that Ladakh’s multilingual character enriches India’s cultural landscape.
The Lieutenant Governor credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi for giving Hindi global visibility through international speeches. He encouraged students to stay rooted in cultural values while embracing innovation and global opportunities.
The conference featured book releases, a documentary screening, and interactions with leading thinkers who discussed nationalism, humanism, and India’s civilizational vision.
