A shocking horror killing in West Champaran district of Bihar has come to light after police solved a double murder case involving a teenage girl and her lover. The incident happened in the Bagaha area, where the girl’s father and maternal uncle allegedly planned the brutal crime.
According to police, the horror killing in West Champaran was driven by the father’s anger over his daughter’s relationship with a young man named Akhilesh Yadav. On 8 September 2025, the father took his daughter to the Madanpur forest on the pretext of collecting wood. Her uncle and other accomplices were already waiting there.
The accused first strangled the girl. They then forced her lover to come to the forest by calling him from her phone. When he arrived, they beat him and forced him to write a suicide note before killing him as well.
The attackers hanged both bodies from a tree to make the deaths look like suicide. Months later, villagers discovered the skeletons in the forest and informed police.
Police have arrested the girl’s father and maternal uncle, while the search continues for other suspects.
