If you lose your voter ID card, don’t panic! You can get a duplicate voter ID online in just 10 minutes. The Election Commission of India allows you to apply for a new or duplicate voter card from home through the NVSP website or the Voter Helpline App.
To get your duplicate card, first visit https://www.nvsp.in/ and log in or create a new account. Select “Replacement of Voter ID”, enter your details, and upload the required documents such as Aadhaar or PAN. Pay a small fee of ₹25 via UPI, debit card, or net banking. You’ll get a reference number to track your application.
If your card was stolen, file an FIR before applying. Otherwise, no FIR is needed. You can also use the Voter Helpline App to apply and track your status. Your new card usually arrives within 15–20 days, or you can instantly download the e-EPIC version for immediate use.
