Huzurabad MLA Slams Govt Over Cyclone Relief Delay

Huzurabad MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy slams Telangana govt over poor Telangana Cyclone Relief to farmers.

Huzurabad MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy has sharply criticized the Telangana government for neglecting farmers affected by Cyclone Motha. He said the government should help farmers immediately instead of offering token relief. Kaushik demanded that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy announce ₹25,000 per acre for paddy and ₹50,000 for cotton.

On Saturday, he visited Jupaka and Rampur villages to meet farmers who lost their crops. He said about 30,000 acres were damaged in Huzurabad, but officials reported only 825 acres. Kaushik called the ₹10,000 relief per farmer an insult and accused the government of ignoring the ground reality.

He urged agriculture officers to visit every affected village and submit factual reports. Kaushik warned that he would inspect the areas personally if officials failed. He demanded quick action on Congress manifesto promises like farm loan waivers, Rythu Bharosa, and aid for unemployed youth.

Kaushik warned that Congress leaders would face protests if promises were ignored. He pledged to continue his fight for farmers’ rights. Several BRS leaders and local activists accompanied him during his visit.
