A moving car caught fire on Wednesday night at Pathergatti Road in Hyderabad’s Old City, causing panic among locals. Thankfully, no one was injured in the incident.

According to officials, the driver noticed smoke coming from the vehicle while it was still in motion. Acting quickly, he stopped the car and managed to jump out before the situation turned dangerous.

Moments later, the car burst into flames, drawing the attention of people in the busy area. Several passersby alerted the fire department, who immediately dispatched a fire tender from the nearest station.

Firefighters arrived at the spot within minutes and worked to control the blaze. Their timely action prevented the fire from spreading further and brought relief to onlookers gathered around the scene.

Officials suspect that the blaze was caused by a short circuit in the car’s electrical system. However, a detailed investigation will be carried out to confirm the exact reason.

Incidents like these highlight the importance of vehicle maintenance and regular safety checks, especially in older cars. Authorities have urged vehicle owners to remain alert and take immediate precautions if they notice unusual smoke or burning smells.
