The Hyderabad Press Club has announced the schedule for its upcoming elections. The elections for the club’s executive committee are set to take place on October 26, as confirmed by the club’s General Secretary, Ravikant Reddy.
Members will elect the Executive Committee for the 2025–2027 term. The elections aim to select office-bearers who will oversee the administration and activities of the Press Club, ensuring smooth functioning and supporting journalists in their professional engagements.
Dodda Srinivas Reddy has been appointed as the Returning Officer to supervise the election process and ensure transparency and fairness. Club members are gearing up to participate actively, and campaigning among candidates has already begun. The elections are expected to be closely watched by media professionals, as the new committee will play a key role in addressing issues concerning journalists, fostering networking, and organizing events and workshops for the press community in Hyderabad over the next two years.
