Mohammed Zaid, a 23-year-old from Old Malakpet, Hyderabad, is pursuing graduation in health professions and clinical sciences at the University of Bridgeport, Connecticut. On Saturday, while returning from a grocery store, a speeding car hit him.
Local authorities rushed him to St. Vincent’s Medical Centre, part of Hartford HealthCare in Connecticut. Doctors placed him on a ventilator, and he has remained unconscious for three days. His father, Mohd Ismail, said the family is extremely worried about his condition.
