The Hyderabad Development Authority (HYDRAA) received several complaints from citizens during the recent Prajavani event regarding fire hazards and illegal encroachments in the city.
A.V. Ranganath, the HYDRAA Commissioner, reviewed all 59 petitions submitted by residents. He assigned each complaint to the relevant department or officials for immediate action. The complaints included issues like unsafe electric connections, blocked fire exits, and unauthorized structures on public land.
Officials said they will inspect the reported sites, take necessary safety measures, and remove encroachments where required. The Commissioner emphasized timely redressal to ensure public safety and maintain proper urban management.
Citizens appreciated HYDRAA’s prompt response and said such initiatives build trust between authorities and residents. The authority also encouraged more people to report hazards and violations so that Hyderabad remains safe and orderly.
