Batting first, Bangladesh A posted 194/6, powered by Habibur Rahman Sohan’s half-century and a late assault from Mahidul Islam Ankon and Yasir Ali, who added over 50 runs in the final three overs.
India A responded aggressively as Vaibhav Suryavanshi smashed 38 off 15 balls, while Priyansh Arya added 44. Captain Jitesh Sharma chipped in with 33, and Nehal Wadhera remained unbeaten on 32, but India fell short as Ripon Mondol’s crucial breakthroughs halted the chase.
In the Super Over, India collapsed without scoring as Mondol dismissed both batters. Bangladesh required just one run, and despite an early wicket, a wide ball from Suyash Sharma handed the Bangla Tigers a memorable win and a place in the final.
