India Condemns Pakistan’s Use of Terror as State Policy at UN
India strongly condemned Pakistan for continuing to use terror as a tool of state policy. This statement was made by India’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Ambassador Parvathaneni Harish, during discussions at the U.N. on Monday.
Ambassador Harish responded sharply to remarks made by Pakistan’s U.N. Ambassador, Asim Iftikhar Ahmad. He said that it is not normal or acceptable for any country to use terrorism to achieve political goals. The Indian envoy emphasized that such actions threaten peace, security, and stability in the region.
He also called on the international community to recognize the dangers of state-sponsored terrorism and take appropriate measures. Ambassador Harish stressed that India remains committed to peace but will continue to defend itself against all forms of cross-border terrorism.
The statement highlighted India’s firm stance against terrorism and its demand for accountability, urging Pakistan to stop supporting and promoting terrorist activities.
