India is the best team in Asia and in the world, Afghanistan all-rounder Gulbadin Naib said while praising India’s dominance in modern cricket. He highlighted India’s consistent performances, strong bench strength, and ability to win across formats.
Speaking to reporters after a training session, Naib said India is the best team in Asia and in the world because of its balance in batting, bowling, and fielding. He added that India’s depth allows them to compete at the highest level, whether in ODIs, T20Is, or Tests.
Naib pointed out that many young Indian players have stepped up whenever seniors rested or missed games. According to him, this shows the depth and quality of the system. He also praised the leadership group of Rohit Sharma and coach Rahul Dravid for creating a winning environment.
The Afghanistan star said playing against India is always a big challenge and a great learning experience. He noted that India’s professionalism sets a benchmark for other Asian teams to follow.
