India Targets $1 Trillion Exports in FY27 as the Centre aims to boost both goods and services shipments despite global trade challenges. Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal said the country achieved exports worth $863 billion in FY26 and now plans to cross the $1 trillion mark this financial year.
India Targets $1 Trillion Exports in FY27 with support from new free trade agreements and stronger domestic manufacturing. Goyal said India has signed or negotiated trade deals with nearly 38 countries to help Indian products enter global markets at lower duties.
The minister also asked industries to reduce dependence on imports and increase local production. He urged businesses to identify products that India can manufacture domestically.
Goyal highlighted growth in sectors like medical devices, agriculture, and services exports. He added that better quality, packaging, and productivity will help Indian companies compete globally.
