Ishan Kishan played a brilliant innings to help India defeat New Zealand in the fifth T20I at Thiruvananthapuram. The left-handed batter smashed a stunning 103 runs off just 43 balls. His explosive knock helped India post a massive total of 271 runs, one of their highest scores in T20 cricket.
Kishan received strong support from Suryakumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya, and Abhishek Sharma, who also played quick and attacking innings. India dominated the New Zealand bowlers with powerful hitting all around the ground.
Chasing the huge target, New Zealand fought hard. Finn Allen played a fearless innings and tried to keep his team in the game. However, the target proved too big. Indian bowler Arshdeep Singh bowled superbly and took five wickets, breaking the New Zealand batting line-up.
In the end, New Zealand fell short, and India sealed a convincing victory in the final match of the series.
