IndiGo Software Glitch Disrupts Flights at Patna Airport

IndiGo software glitch causes flight delays at Patna airport

A major IndiGo software glitch disrupted flight services at Patna airport on Wednesday. The issue affected the airline’s crew-rostering system, which schedules pilots for flights. Due to this IndiGo software glitch, five flights were cancelled and 29 others were delayed. Passengers grew angry, but airport officials and CISF personnel calmed the situation.

The problem forced staff to prepare pilot rosters manually. This slowed down the entire process and caused long delays. Twelve incoming IndiGo flights and seventeen outgoing flights were delayed by nearly six hours. Some flights may also face disruptions on Thursday.

Officials said passengers were informed about cancellations in advance, and no major inconvenience occurred. Airport Director Chandra Pratap Dwivedi confirmed that the technical fault in the crew-rostering software affected IndiGo’s operations at Patna airport.
