Jaipur Tech Hub Push received a major boost on Tuesday with a key announcement from Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw. Addressing the DigiFest–TiE Global Summit 2026 through video conference, the minister outlined a bold technology vision for Rajasthan. He described artificial intelligence as the “new electricity” of modern India.
Vaishnaw said AI will soon connect every person, home, and industry, just as power once did. He stressed that responsible and thoughtful use of AI can accelerate national growth. During his address, he confirmed that Jaipur will soon host a state-of-the-art AI data centre. The facility will support advanced computing, secure data storage, and innovation-led development.
The minister said Prime Minister Narendra Modi has provided a clear roadmap for AI-led growth. The government aims to make technology affordable, accessible, and available to every citizen. This approach supports the broader goal of building an Atmanirbhar Bharat through digital strength.
Vaishnaw also announced a major skilling initiative for Rajasthan. Under this plan, 5,000 youths will receive direct skill training in the MSME sector. The move will create local jobs and strengthen small industries.
He added that the government has launched a nationwide mission to train 10 lakh youths in AI and emerging technologies. He praised IIT Jodhpur for its strong AI research contributions.
