Bihar’s senior JD(U) leader Lalan Singh has clearly stated that JDU does not need RCP Singh. He dismissed speculations about RCP Singh returning to the party. Lalan Singh also commented on political strategist Prashant Kishor, saying Kishor has no place in JD(U) now.
Speaking to the media, Lalan Singh repeated that JDU does not need RCP Singh. He said the party has grown stronger under Nitish Kumar’s leadership and does not require leaders who left in the past. Singh highlighted that RCP Singh’s and Kishor’s earlier predictions about JD(U)’s poor performance in elections did not come true.
RCP Singh had joined Prashant Kishor’s Jan Suraaj Party before the last Bihar polls. There were rumors he might return to JD(U) after the election results. Lalan Singh rejected all such reports, emphasizing that the party is focused on future growth without relying on former leaders.
He also praised Nitish Kumar for steering JD(U) to a better performance than expected. According to Singh, the party’s success proves that it does not depend on external advisors or returning leaders.
