JDU Faces Internal Revolt Over Ticket Denials

Bihar JDU ticket protests outside CM residence

Ahead of the Bihar elections, Bihar JDU ticket protests have erupted as party members express anger over possible ticket denials. Many leaders and workers of Janata Dal United (JDU) are staging protests outside Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s residence. Supporters of Virendra Kumar Singh from Navinagar demanded that their candidate not be changed, accusing Anand Mohan of trying to field his son from the same seat. Former MLA Maheshwar Yadav also joined the protest after his ticket was reportedly cancelled.

Similarly, Gopal Mandal, MLA from Gopalpur, reached the Chief Minister’s residence with his supporters, demanding a meeting with Nitish Kumar. Denied entry, he sat on a dharna, claiming a conspiracy within JDU to cut his ticket. The situation highlights growing unrest within the party just before candidate announcements. The Bihar JDU ticket protests reflect deep internal conflict ahead of the polls.
