The JDU Candidates List 2025 is out, marking the start of the Bihar Assembly election race. Janata Dal (United) announced its first list of 57 candidates in Patna. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar finalized the names after several meetings with party leaders. This selection shows the party’s focus on balancing caste, region, and alliance needs.
JDU will contest 101 seats as per the NDA seat-sharing formula, while BJP and its allies will contest the remaining seats. Senior JDU leaders presented the JDU Candidates List 2025 at a press conference. Key names include Narendra Narayan Yadav (Alamnagar), Kavita Shah (Madhepura), Raveena Kushwaha (Vibhutipur), and Anant Singh (Mokama). The list reflects JDU’s strategy to mix experience with new energy for the upcoming polls.
