A Jehanabad Train Accident caused panic when a passenger train hit an auto stuck on a railway track in Bihar. The incident took place near Sevanan Halt on the Gaya–Patna rail route on Friday evening.
Reports say the Jehanabad Train Accident happened around 7:15 pm. An auto carrying passengers stopped on the railway track. At the same time, train number 63256 was coming from Gaya to Patna.
The train driver tried to slow down but the train hit the auto. The impact badly damaged the vehicle. Pieces of the auto scattered near the track.
Luckily, the train did not suffer major damage. Railway staff checked the track and allowed the train to continue after a short delay.
Local people rushed to the spot soon after the crash. Officials have started an inquiry to find out how the auto reached the railway track.
