The scrutiny of nomination papers for the Jubilee Hills by-election is currently underway. As of 7 PM yesterday, the Election authorities rejected 69 nomination papers filed by 36 candidates, while 45 nominations were accepted after verification.
Scrutiny will continue today, and officials have announced that candidates who wish to withdraw their nominations may do so tomorrow. The Returning Officer has approved the nominations of the main candidates from INC, BRS, and BJP, clearing the way for them to enter the election campaign officially.
With the final list soon to be confirmed, the election atmosphere in Jubilee Hills is intensifying, and parties are expected to escalate their campaign strategies in the coming days.
