The famous Srisailam temple of Lord Mallanna will host the annual *Karthika Masotsavams* from October 22 to November 21 this year. The month-long celebrations will include a series of special rituals and events attracting thousands of devotees.
According to temple authorities, the first Karthika Friday will be observed on October 24 with the grand *Krishnamma River Harathi. On November 1, the **Koti Deepotsavam* will be held at the Gangadhara Mandapam, followed by the traditional *Jwala Toranam* on November 5. Additionally, every Monday during the auspicious month will feature *Laksha Deepotsavam* and *Pushkarini Harathi*, adding spiritual fervor to the festivities.
However, officials clarified that on special days like Shani Trayodashi, Ekadashi, Mondays, and Pournami, *mass abhishekams will not be performed*, though limited participation will be allowed on ordinary days. The temple expects heavy pilgrim turnout and has urged devotees to plan their visits accordingly.
