Karunakar Reddy Slams CID, ACB Probe into Parakamani Theft Case
YSRCP leader and former TTD chairman Karunakar Reddy criticised the ongoing CID and ACB investigation into the Parakamani theft case, alleging that the probe has not been conducted in accordance with court directives. Speaking in Tirupati, he claimed that the investigation appeared biased and incomplete, suggesting that officials were not following due procedure. Reddy firmly denied any links to the main accused in the case and stated that he would quit politics if any evidence proved otherwise.
He said attempts were being made to tarnish his reputation by dragging his name into the controversy without justification. Highlighting his long association with the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams and his public service record, Reddy insisted that he had always acted with integrity. He urged the authorities to conduct a transparent and lawful investigation so that the truth could emerge. The YSRCP leader also expressed confidence that the allegations against him would be disproved.
