The political journey of Jagruthi president Kalvakuntla Kavitha has turned into a major discussion in Telangana. She distanced herself from her father’s party and began a people’s outreach programme. During a recent event in the GHMC area, Kavitha criticised Kukatpally MLA Madhavaram Krishna Rao. She alleged that he focused more on land issues than on public welfare. Krishna Rao reacted strongly and accused Kavitha of several irregularities. He said he had seen many “like her” and warned that exposing her record would be damaging. He questioned her comments on corruption and challenged her to stop making personal remarks.
