The election battle in Bihar has intensified with the AAP ₹3,000 scheme for Bihar women. Arvind Kejriwal’s Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has overtaken Tejashwi Yadav’s Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) in offering higher benefits to women voters. Under the Maiya Samman Yojana, AAP has pledged to provide ₹3,000 per month to women if it comes to power.
Earlier, Tejashwi Yadav had announced the Mai-Behin Yojana, promising ₹2,500 per month to women. With this, AAP’s offer goes one step further in the race of election promises. The Bihar AAP unit, while releasing its manifesto, also announced interest-free loans up to ₹10 lakh, a salary of ₹12,000 for cooks, and free travel for women on government buses.
AAP believes these steps will empower women financially and boost Bihar’s economy. The party said that Bihar’s women are not just the strength of families but also the backbone of the state’s progress. Through the AAP ₹3,000 scheme for Bihar women, Kejriwal aims to connect with female voters and bring Delhi’s welfare model to Bihar.
