Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy met with state ministers yesterday to discuss the upcoming local elections . Sources indicate that the CM plans to take a crucial decision within the next two to three days regarding the election schedule and procedures .
The discussions focused on pending BC (Backward Classes) reservation bills , which are still awaiting approval from the Governor and the President. Some ministers suggested issuing a special government order (GO) to proceed with the elections, while others recommended waiting until the legislation is formally enacted before conducting polls.
Several ministers also emphasized the importance of implementing reservation policies in line with the party’s stance to ensure fair representation.
