Delhi Police have arrested two accused in connection with a brutal murder in Kirti Nagar, West Delhi, and recovered the weapon allegedly used in the crime. The arrests come after the victim, identified as Angad, was found dead near the Kirti Nagar railway tracks on November 17, 2025, with a deep incised wound on his neck.
According to police, the investigation involved reviewing CCTV footage, local intelligence, and technical surveillance, which helped identify the suspects: Satyendra Chaudhary and Harish Chandra. During interrogation, Satyendra revealed the involvement of another person named Amar, who is still absconding. The police recovered a paper-cutter knife, the victim’s mobile phone, and blood-stained clothing during the raid.
Preliminary findings suggest that the crime was revenge-driven. Angad reportedly had a strained relationship with Amar’s sister, and conflicts escalated after he allegedly sent abusive messages and threatened to share objectionable content. On the day of the murder, Amar and Satyendra lured Angad to the railway tracks under the pretext of resolving a dispute. Once Angad was intoxicated, they allegedly overpowered and stabbed him in the neck.
The Delhi Police confirmed that further investigation is ongoing, with Amar still at large. Authorities are gathering additional evidence to strengthen the case and ensure accountability.
This incident has sparked concerns over violence and safety in local neighborhoods, with police urging residents to report suspicious activities. The arrests demonstrate Delhi Police’s prompt action and ongoing commitment to solving violent crimes swiftly.
