On the auspicious day of Vivah Panchami, the saffron religious flag rose above the temple during the sacred Abhijit Muhurat. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat witnessed the ceremony along with temple saints who guided the rituals. Skilled artisans who specialise in traditional temple flags crafted the saffron dhwaj. They designed it using ancient specifications that reflect strength, discipline, and Sanatan heritage.
The flag took centre stage as it fluttered over the newly built structure, reminding devotees of the temple’s history and the cultural legacy carried through generations. Sources from the Ram Janmabhoomi Trust said the artisans used sacred threads, natural dyes, and a specific weaving style reserved for major dharmic institutions.
The ceremony also marked a moment of unity for thousands of devotees who gathered in Ayodhya to witness this symbolic rise of tradition, devotion, and pride.
